make folders with no access unvisible

    Hi,

ProjectWise CE 3.2. For one specific user list, we give read-only access to just one project (with many subfolders) having a unique workflow.

Our access rights are only workflow managed. For all the other folders higher in the tree (with subfolders and projects), there is no access for this user list.

Now this user list can see all these other folders and projects but zero content. Is there a way to make these folders invisible for this user list ?

    Thanks,

    Best,

    Nico

Have you tried at just the parent folder that contains the folders you don't want the others to see, giving the user list just "Read" in the Work Area/Folder Security and "No Access" under Document Security?  This is what we do and it prevents users from seeing the children folders other than those that they have explicit access to.
