Printing Rendition PDFs Missing Reference Files

We are trying to print some plan sheets with multiple reference files nested in a motif file with a depth of 1. Most of the nested references are displaying on the PDFs but 2 files are not printing even though they are on in the motif file and are displayed correctly in the dgns. We tried to save the view in the files which did not help. Finally we exported all of the sheets with references to a local folder and printed from a local organizer and it worked fine.

Any ideas why renditions is not printing 2 nested reference files? How do I see the settings of the ProjectWise renditions printing to troubleshoot?

    Thank you!

Usually when I see missing references on Renditions it's because the references were attached directly from a server or local drive instead of via ProjectWise and the server can't find the file (your machine can find the file because you happened to have a copy of it on your computer already.) Verify the attachment info of the missing references.

Next most common is that the account doing the renditions doesn't have access to the references. If you're right-clicking and selecting Create Rendition yourself then this probably isn't the problem. if the rendition is running as part of an automated process it could be the issue.

You can try using Local Document Organizer to purge everything off your machine, then use InterPlot Organizer to test creating the PDF local. Select the same set file that renditions uses and see what happens.

Finally, you may need to work with whoever administers your rendition server, they can check the logs to see if it reports an error trying to copy out the reference.
