ProjectWise Explorer Open With dialog Read-Only default

Because I have to switch pretty frequently between MicroStation V8i, Power InRoads, OpenRoads and MicroStation CONNECT I changed my default double-click action in ProjectWise to be Open With.

The Open With dialog has a checkbox "Open as Read Only". This box is on by default if for any reason the last file you opened was Opened Read-Only. All these trigger the new default to be Open Read-Only:

    • Open old version of file
    • Open a file where your permissions are read-only
    • Open a file in final status

Apparently what doesn't trigger it is rich-clicking a file and selecting "Open as Read-Only"

This is SUPER ANNOYING. I honestly thing the "Read-only checkbox" should default to ON is if the user themselves turned it on for the last file they opened. Just opening a file that happens to be read-only shouldn't trigger it.
