    Using %error directive in CSB

I am following the topic: "Dynamic Managed Workspace", by Buddy Branham.

There is a .cfg file: WorkAreaPWSetup_Predefined_Example_CE.cfg, that is a part of this collection of resources that I believe is intended to be used as a .cfg, or converted into a CSB; both options in ProjectWise.

There is a simple collection of code:

    %if defined (_VERSION_8_11)

%error This WorkArea not configured for V8i.

That I am trying to input into a CSB.

The problem I am having is that the Flow Directive %error is not included as one of the options in ProjectWise.

Likewise, "%if Defined", is also not an option, but here I can use %if, and then add the rest as string.

An I supposed to somehow add the %error on the same string line, or is this just not possible?

    Thanks

in the configuration setting block Configuration tab click the + sign and select Add Directive

click the drop down arrow for the directive and select %error from the drop down

Add the error message you want as a string, click OK.

The only directive that i'm aware is missing is a new one in Connect %echo that displays a message like %error but does not stop execution.

For %if defined (_VERSION_8_11) select %if and then the string is:

      defined(_VERSION_8_11)

Oh yeah, if you're doing this in ProjectWise Explorer in your Personal Workspace CSB the directives aren't available. Have to do it in administrator.
