    Windows 11 + Project wise + Revit 2021

Does anyone else have this particular combination of OS and softwares?

ProjectWise 10.3.453 + Revit 2021 do not seem to play nicely with Win 11.

Everything was fine on Win 10. Now Revit crashes on startup. When the ProjectWise Add-in file is removed from the Revit program directory, Revit opens up fine.

Windows 11 has been out officially for half a year and developers had access even earlier. Why has it been half a year and Bentley still hasn't certified ProjectWise to work on Windows 11? The day Windows…

It's now been 9 months since this was identified, and the most recent release of ProjectWise Explorer still appears to be from July 2021. Has anyone at least tried to develop a workaround to allow this…

      Thanks for posting your query.

Bentley makes every effort to test Bentley software with the latest operating systems.

Windows 11 was just recently released by Microsoft and Bentley does not currently have a version of Projectwise that is supported on this version.
Bentley is in the process of testing Windows 11 with a future release of Projectwise however we cannot provide a time line at this time.

Please note that Bentley does not go back and test already released software with newer versions of Operating systems.
Projectwise may (or may not) work on Windows 11, but at this time it is not supported.

Windows 11 has been out officially for half a year and developers had access even earlier. Why has it been half a year and Bentley still hasn't certified ProjectWise to work on Windows 11? The day Windows 11 came out Autodesk already supported it with the 2021 and 2022 products.

What's the rush to go to 11?

It's not a "rush" when it's been a minimum of 6 months. Microsoft is pushing Windows 11 heavily and new PCs are coming with Windows 11 preinstalled. It shouldn't take an almost billion dollar software company half a year to update existing software to the latest version of Windows.
