Next Version of ProjectWise Design Integration (10.XX.04.XXX)?

We keep experiencing issues with 3.299 and all the Bentley support team say is that it will be fixed in version 4.  We never get an answer of when this is likely to be released though.

We then found out that the select few have been given access to new server releases that sit between 3.299 and 4.0 but when we request it we are told we have to wait for version 4.  Why are certain organisations granted access to the later release but others are not, even though the issues we have reported are fixed in the interim release?

Money talks I guess...

10.00.03.453 is in Software Downloads, I thought that was a general release. It's listed in the version support matrix and they only put public releases in that.

3.453 client is available for general release but the latest server version is 3.299.

We have been receiving emails about other companies upgrading their servers up to 3.721 for example but why hasn't that been made available to everyone.  There were features and fixes we have been requesting for months but we were told to wait for version 4 but they have been released or fixed in this server release.

Generally Bentley has releases that may fix a very specific issue a particular customer has, or has not undergone full testing, they won't release it publicly but may give it to certain companies for testing. I suspect 3.721 was the latter, they probably expected to release it but it failed some in testing but was ok for specific uses. We probably won't ever hear the reason, and since Bentley went public they're a bit more tight lipped about future releases.

I've been expecting a .03.xxx update for 299 for awhile as well and but suspect it got canned for a .04.xxx release like you're asking about.
