Does scanref work with DGNWS files that have sheets in the sheet index?

Haven't actually tried this but thought somebody here might already know - If I move a dgnws created outside of ProjectWise, and has sheets in the sheet index, into ProjectWise will scanref fix the pathing of the dgn files in the index?  It looks like the dgnws stores the paths to sheets relative to the _USTN_WORKSETROOT variable, but I'm not sure that works in ProjectWise even if the ProjectWise path is the same.
