ProjectWise Integration with Batch Processor

Tested with:

• ProjectWise Explorer 10.00.03.453
• MicroStation CONNECT 10.17.00.209

Not sure if this is a ProjectWise issue or a MicroStation issue, but i suspect it's ProjectWise integration problem.

1. In PWE Check out a batch processor command file you'll be using. (Command files are just text files)
2. Open a microstation dgn file
3. Start batch processor, select a couple of dgn files & the command file you're currently editing.
4. Run the batch processor
5. Close the batch processor
6. The file you had checked out before starting this whole process is automatically checked in with no prompt.

If you don't notice the check-in at step 6 and make some more changes to the batch file depending on your "Use up-to-date local copy on check out/copy out" settings your changes will be overwritten the next time you run the processor.

If you catch it before the local file gets overwritten it can be tricky getting the changes back into PW.
