    ProjectWise with Windows 11

When will ProjectWise support Windows 11? I have been asking for this since Nov 2021 and again in June 2022.

Kindly come out with a timeline please. When can we expect a new release that can support Windows 11?

It would be nice if Bentley would share a bit of their roadmap and not be so vague on the time frame!

It's actually quite sad that Bentley still has not supported Windows 11 after over 15 months since its public release. Considering that developers get access to early versions before the actual release, that means Bentley has had 20+ months to get ProjectWise working with Windows 11. Autodesk had their core products working on the day Win11 was released.

Why is it taking so long for Bentley to support Win11?

Bentley doesn't issue updates just to bump which OS is supported, nor do they go back and test already released software on new OS. So the real question is why hasn't there been a PW client update since 7/2021? Presumably there is something holding it up besides Win 11 support.

I've been using the 453 PW Explorer on my Windows 11 home computer and it seems OK, but I haven't done extensive testing.

Thanks for posting your concerns. We understand the operating system upgrade situation.
The Windows 11 support on ProjectWise is on roadmap and the support related update should be announced real soon on communities for our global user base. Appreciate your patience and support.

It's strange that Bentley are not very forthcoming with a roadmap, this is something we have been requesting for years.  Autodesk do for their EDMS offerings e.g. BIM 360/ACC so why can't Bentley. So many times we are told its fixed in the next release or in V4 which is no help at all.
