Problem with ProjectWise Content on Web Server

I am trying to add the web part ProjectWise Content to our SharePoint server and I am receiving the no informational error " Error on page" from SharePoint. I have been successful using the ProjectWise Navigation and ProjectWise Properties web part. If I try to use either SSO or ProjectWise login on the web part ProjectWise Content that is when I receive the error. All other ProjectWise web parts are successful using either SSO or ProjectWise login. I am confident that everything is installed correctly based upon my explanation above. I am using version ProjectWise Web Server V8i 08110537 on a SharePoint site. Anyone have this same issue or able to comment please let me know. TIA Sean

      Hi,
I guess you could have previously added and not deleted Content or event other ProjectWise Web Parts, those now are causing problem.
If this is the case, you could try to open Web Parts Maintenance page:
Log to Web Parts as SharePoint site administrator user, in the end of site name enter ?contents=1 (e.g. http://SiteName/default.aspx?contents=1), Web Parts Maintenance page opens.
Delete in it all ProjectWise Web Parts.
Go back to Web Parts page, add PW Web Parts you need and then try to connect them again.

Please write if it does not help.

      Thanks,
      Estida

      Thanks for the response Estida.

I preformed the check and no ProjectWise web parts are installed.  Previously I had added and removed one or all ProjectWise web parts and the only one that would not work is the Content.

Any other areas I can check?

      Sean

Just to let everyone know I filed a service ticket 8000553563 and the solution was I had a Project Type with one property defined.  I created this in XM version and we have upgraded to V8i version within the last month.

Support had me delete the project type and all is good.  Not sure but maybe the project type was corrupt or an entry in a database table for the project type was not good.  All I know is now the content browser is visible.  Thanks to Stephen Herrick with support for the help.

I'am experiencing exactly the same problem, all the others parts, connects fine, but Content, just won't. I tried the solution described here, but it didn't help. Anybody have any ideas ?

       Regards

      Michael
