FDOT / Renditions: FL" & "FI do not print with renditions

When the letters "fi" are in combination, and in fdot font, such as in the word field, the letters "fi" will not print/show in the rendition pdf. I will end up with "eld" instead of field. Any ideas?

Over on the Microstation forums a similar issue (not printing ff in FDOT fonts) was fixed by using FDOT's MSTNFontConfig.xml instead of the one shipped by Bentley. I'd make sure your rendition server is using that.
