    Scandalous long Openroads file opening

    Hello,

Is there any way to open .dgn (openroads) file without references? In couple  of file I have attached about 20-30 x-refs including 3D and 2D models, and the avarage time of file open is 30-40 min. I have noticed, that for some reason OpenRoads during openingis checking (?), I am not sure what exactly software is doing in this place, old version of each file, see screenshots below:

I double checked and in the files are always attached latest version of file.
Can someone explain me why ORD check old version of x-refs and  what process is going on after opening?

    Regards

      Hi Krzysztof,

This is a very frustrating issue for most ORD users using ProjectWise.

Is it possible that some references have references attached of older versions? There is a bug in the base platform that has just been fixed that resolves an issue where it loads all nested references even without nesting enabled - hopefully will make its way into the next ORD version due soon:

      Regards,

      Mark
