Forms binding users grayed out

Hi, 

Working on forms and having an issue regarding Multi Assigning users. 

I want to create two separate fields, one for users and one for roles, but it seems not possible to create a separate binding for this?

Any idea how to resolve this?

And I want to show roles only in the list, is this possible or do I need to create an action for this?
