Excel PW plugins disabling (Registry: Resiliency/DisabledItems)

    Hey guys,

We noticed we've had a few users starting to get their Excel ProjectWise Attribute Exchange plugins disabled from time to time.

This used to happen often years ago but it was the Load Behavior in the registry (HKCU) that was being changed from 3 to 2.
It slowly ended up going away and only had the occasion issue here and there.

Guessing times have changed as recently we get the plugins disabled, however its being disabled under KHCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Excel\Resiliency\DisabledItems

Harder to spot as it has an ID as a name.

After deleting the entry it is re-enabled.
Cant figure how to do this via Excel itself.

Anyone else noticed this or know a way to avoid it?

Tried using the DoNotDisableAddinList in Registry, but still occurs.

I've not learned of another way to handle this issue. We've created a PowerShell-based app to check for this and delete DisabledItems Key. Would be helpful to know the applicable Disabled Item's actual name so that we could target it instead of wiping out all program-specific items.

Am also curious if anyone has discovered a more effect workflow to deal with this issue.
