    Add Users via WSG

    Is it possible to add users to ProjectWise via the WSG?

    In the patchnotes for ProjectWise Plug-in for WSG Update 3.4 (10.00.03.436) it says:

    New user related functionality:

    • Create ProjectWise user with federated identity (Bentley IMS account)
    • Select user federated identity information
    • Ability to filter users by federated identity Name and FederationId properties

    I can't see in the schema where we can select the user federated Info & when I try and send a POST request to the User class I get the error:

     "errorMessage": "User must provide federated identity relationship."

    But I can't see how to get this federated identity to create the relationship.  Has anyone had any success with this?

      Chris,

      I used your thread when speaking to Aivaras Paliulis in Bentley about what we have both appear to have been trying to achieve. They have made a change now to incorporate admin functions, details here (towards the bottom of the conversation);

      How would you use Flow connector? - Discussion Forum - ProjectWise Design Integration Connector for Microsoft Flow (Early Access) - Bentley Communities

      Hopefully this might help you as well. Peter Willmen tested this in flow and all apparently works.

      Regards,

      Paul Duffy
