after a workset is created in the network and now the project need to be in ProjectWise, is it ok to just drag and drop the workset/project folder and config file and dgnws to their respective folder in ProjectWise?

Without a managed workspace your DGNWS & workset configuration won't work in ProjectWise.

You'll also need to do a scanref to fix the reference file attachments for all your dgn files.

Managed workspace has been set up, just didn't know if i needed to create the workset(New Workarea) and dngws from PW or can i just drag and drop, project was started out of PW and need to move it. Right i will need to scan for ref, i also thought there was another program/app to transferee files to PW from local or network drives. thanks

If the workset name is the same i think you can use the dgnws. it the workset name is different the dgnws will display the old name in the Project Explorer and may have some odd issues. If it has sheets in the sheet index already I'm not sure how they'll work in projectwise, i haven't tried it. Not sure a scanref will fix sheets in the sheet index, but it may not need too.

drag and drop is the easiest way to get the files in, there isn't another app. If it's a really large amount of data it might be better to first copy it to your local computer and then drag and drop into ProjectWise. Really big transfers will sometimes abort. Doing it in pieces can also help.
