    ProjectWise icons

the AutoCAD 2010 ProjectWise interface has a lot of good looking icons.

They are NOT availible in MicroStation!

Does anyone have them? It seems the AutoCAD PW developer made them and did not share them with the MicroStation PW developer!

    Regards,

    Marc

Thanx Dean, This works perfectly! I've extracted all icons from the AutoCAD interface. I will try to make my DGNLIB availible as soon as it works and is tested. Marc

I don't have SELECT 1 yet but I have made LOTS of ribbon menu items, icons, for 2010 and they are alot of work.  I can't wait to see what they did for AutoCAD.  By the way, Microstation has always had a seemless feel to ProjectWise integration rather than tacked on.  IIRC, Microstation does not use a separate menu or tool pallet for PW, that would be a good reason for not sharing the sweet icons.  Thanks for the info, I look forward to seeing them myself.

As Dean mentioned, in MicroStation we mainly just use/integrate the standard MicroStation commands so we have not added an additional toolbar.  Are there particular commands you want on a "ProjectWise" toolbar in MicroStation that are not available already?

      Dear John,

I have tested Autocad with projectwise and seen the toolbar -  we use microstation and I miss the same simple toolbar for the Projectwise keyins titleblock modify etc I have created a menu to call the keyings etc but this seams strange that such a simple menu/toolbar is not delivered with microstation/proejctwise. For those who use keyins all day no problem but for those mouse driven users there is no obvoius projectwise access point in microstation.

The same goes for the projectwise settings I would hope to see a projectiwse entry in the settings list with its own tab.

       Best Regards,

      Ian

Thanks for the input.  So it sounds like you are mainly interested in the titleblock related commands being added to a toolbar, correct?

As for the settings part, can you elaborate a little on what you are looking for there?

      Thanks,

      John

      The AutoCAD 2010 ribbon holds:

      • Import
      • Export
      • Properties
      • Attach Reference
      • Reload Refeence
      • Insert title block
      • Update title block
      • Update ProjectWise attributes
      • Insert Block
      • Write Block
      • Place on Sheet
      • New Sheet
      • Open Sheet
      • Session File Manager

I'm not sure which commands are intergrated in MicroStation, but it looks like a good idea to have a separate toolbar/taskbar for ProjectWise commands.
