<p>Not sure if is still possible in SS4, but when using SS2 (and DAM) you were able to manually overwrite the attribute value which was checked (change to APPROVED), this would then allow the master file to progress to Shared. &nbsp; Is it possible to have the .dat files located in a seperate folder, that way you could treat the files differently in terms of workflow and look to have the checked attribute set to APPROVED (perhaps a different environment)? &nbsp;I know you can do this with applications such as REBAR (.RGB files) but you have more control over their configuration.</p>
