Hello,
Is it possible to create a shortcut in PWE that links to another PWE folder/file?
For Example: Say I have important files in various PW folders and I would like to make a folder called "Important Files" and create links to all those folders.
Thanks,
Tom F.

Yes. Create a new application that opens files with the .lnk (ell-nk) with Explorer. Then drag the folder you want to make a shortcut to onto your desktop. That creates an .lnk file. Drag that .lnk file back into projectwise in your Important Files folder. It's not perfect: if you don't make the files read-only they'll checkout to people. If you make files read-only (or set final status) then users get an annoying popup about the file opening read-only. Click OK to jump to the folder anyway.

Oh yeah, the .lnk files don't work with the web server, PW Explorer only.
As an alternative you could create a 'Document Set' that has the links to related files.
'Custom folders' can also be used as these are virtual folder structures with links (shortcuts) to other folders and files in the datasource.
Not sure if either of these options work with PW Web though
Thanks Kevin - I got the Explorer Application created, but when I double click on my .lnk file PW asks what I to use to open the file. If I browse out to explorer.exe the shortcut works fine. What am I missing?
Did you create the Open action in the Actions tab of the application properties?
