How do you get the Web Server to prompt clients to install the Active X?

      Hi Neil.

In the Implementation Guide there is a whole section that imply to all the configuration you need for Active X install: These are settings that are mandatory for successful workflow via the web. Now in the past I have also see if there is a prior version of a WebServer Active X then removing that from the IE browser setting and uninstalling it from the client machine will prompt you for the new version (install).

      Hope that helps,

      Ranveer

I believe we have figured out the issue.  We have IE 11 which I do not think is supported.

So when will the Web Server support IE 11 and 64 bit browers? Frustrating production problem when a simple brower upgrade breaks your DM system. With distributed workforces you can't control brower installations. Will this need to wait for the next PW Server release or will there be a patch for the Web Server to address this?

Given that IE9 is already out of support and that Microsoft will only support the current (IE11) and immediately previous version (IE10) I hope Bentley are keeping pace and an IE11 release is imminent.

      Hello Jacki,

Is IE11 supported by web part? Our Client is struggling with viewing i-model on IE11 and we are wonderign whether it's related to compatibility issues?

      Thanks,
      Krzysztof
