ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Integration Module for AutoCAD 2015

    Bill.McNamara
    Bill.McNamara over 9 years ago

Announcement: Today we are releasing the support for AutoCAD 2015 for ProjectWise version 08.11.11.791. This is being delivered as an “add-in” that can be installed on top of existing ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4) installations. The ProjectWise version 08.11.11.590 or later is required for this integration.

    Download Description:

ProjectWise is software for connecting people and information across distributed teams and is used by architects and engineers to manage, find, and share CAD and geospatial content, project data, and Office documents. ProjectWise Integration Server is an enterprise-level engineering content management solution.

The ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Integration Module for AutoCAD 2015 download contains the installation package needed to integrate both 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD 2015 with ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4).

The ProjectWise V8i (SELECTseries 4) Integration Module for AutoCAD 2015 provides the following capabilities:

    • Integration for AutoCAD 2015 dialogs to manage and access 2015 DWG files
    • This module not only supports basic AutoCAD 2015, but also the AutoCAD 2015-based products including:
    • AutoCAD 2015 SP1 (32-bit or 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD Architecture 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 SP1 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD MEP 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD P&ID 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD Raster Design 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • AutoCAD Mechanical 2015 (32- and 64-bit)
    • XREF management for AutoCAD 2015 data sets
    • Integration for AutoCAD 2015 sheet set manager sets
    • Support for data links between AutoCAD 2015 DWG files and
    • Attribute exchange between DWG document and ProjectWise document properties

The download package contains separate installers for 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD; the corresponding MSI must be installed to establish ProjectWise integration. For a more comprehensive list of new features and compatibility considerations for ProjectWise Integration Module for AutoCAD 2015 please see the Readme.

    Notes:

    • ProjectWise Explorer V8i (SELECTseries 4) is required for installation and usage of this module. No additional license beyond a ProjectWise Passport is required.
    • Integration with AutoCAD 2015-based products is only with the standard AutoCAD functionality. Application specific capabilities (like data shortcuts in Civil3D) are not addressed with this add-in.
    • Civil 3D advanced integration is not included in this release and will be addressed in a future release.  This Add-in includes only Basic AutoCAD support for Civil 3D.

Thanks Phil, I appreciate the help.
Still no dice. This site is incredible hard to navigate. The AutoDesk site is so much easier. Click on their support page, pick the program, and there is a list of service packs, add ons etc..
Even with your step by step guide I ended up clicking in cirlces again. Luckily our ProjectWise Admin has the files I need.

      Thanks

      Hi B2,

Please take a look at this document I've put together.  Although it was written for ProjectWise Explorer Client downloads, you can see in the screenshot that the Integration Module for AutoCAD 2015 is listed as well.http://communities.bentley.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/342986/ProjectWise-Explorer-Software-download.docx

      Regards

      Phil

I could not agree more with B2, this site is a nightmare to navigate. Why not just have a simple downloads interface instead of the never ending maze of comments and announcements?
