Are there any commands that allow you to assign UserList ownership?
I’m updating my project creation script & have been looking for a way to add this.
Get-PWUserList and Update-PWUserList don’t seem to work since the Owner property of the UserList object is read-only, and it doesn't recreate relative ownership when building new UserLists during New-PWRichProjectFromPath using -UserListPrefix.

      Hey Mike,
I've tried to update the UserList owner with Update-PWUserList and receive the same error. Following this up internally to see what our options are and will get back to you :)

You cannot set an owner on a user list that is to be used for access control. Only a mailing list can have an owner set.

Maybe the property I referenced is incorrect for the configuration I'm trying to automate then - I apologize.

We currently have access control user lists set as owners of other access control user lists as described here:
      communities.bentley.com/.../5474
so that project managers can manage the membership of the user lists on their projects via the user management tool.

I know someone had requested this feature in this wish list thread as well:
      communities.bentley.com/.../105383

While it doesn't take long, this is one of the few remaining steps during project creation that has to be manually completed, and I was hoping to incorporate it into my project creation script.
Any assistance you can provide is appreciated.

I'll chime in here - the ability to assign owners of ACL's would be incredibly helpful!

I now understand what the request is. Not to set the "Owner" of the UserList but rather to add a User/Group/UserList to the "Owners" of the UserList. I have created a PowerShell cmdlet to accomplish this task. It should be available with the next release of PWPS_DAB.
