It would be great if we were able to use the "Add to Comment" function as this is heavily used by our organization for administration actions.
Could you describe this in more detail where and when would you like to add the comments?
The add comment would be added to any cmdlet that when run applies an audit trail, like move/copy etc. We use the add comment in the UI whenever we, Admins, touch a clients file to advise why we did a certain action.
When running the PowerShell scripts, currently, the action like "copy" is noted in the audit trail as you would normally see it if done via the UI, but does not give us a means via the cmdlet process to tell why we took that action.
New cmdlet to add comments to a document should be available in the next release of the PWPS_DAB module.
