Can we add a -locktoversion option?
Thanks in advance
This enhancement has been added.
Thanks Brian - the cmdlet is a bit clunky.
Can we feed it a document instead?
eg: add-pwdocumentflatsetmember -Document $doc -locktoversion
That's on my list of updates for the flat set cmdlets.
Hi Brian, this could be very helpful for me too.
My problem is that I want to add a specific version of a document. Right now, it does not seem possible since passing the document path and filename limits you to adding only the most recent version.
Is there any way to add an archived document to a Flat Set?
This request got lost in the shuffle. I will try to make this change for the next release of the PWPS_DAB module.
As for adding an archived document to a flat set, as long as you have access to the archived document and it's in the same datasource, there is not reason you could not add it to a flat set.
Thanks Brian, looking forward to it.
Am I right into thinking it is not possible for now to add archived documents to FlatSets using Add-PWDocumentFlatSetMember?
If the archived document resides in the same datasource, you should be able to add it to a flat set. If the archived document resides in a separate datasource, then you would not be able to add it to flat set.
But how? The only parameters Add-PWDocumentFlatSetMember has to identify the document to add are SetMemberPath and SetMemberName. How can you specify which version/sequence to add?
Ok, I understand what you are looking for now. Let me see what I can do to improve the functionality of the Add-PWDocumentFlatSetMember cmdlet.
Great! As mentionned by Paul above, being able to pass a Document via argument or pipe would probably do the trick for me too. Thanks for looking into this.
Hi Brian, just wondering what is the timeframe for this improvement? I checked all the Change Logs of the newest releases but did not see this improvement mentioned. We are entering a project phase where this would be very handy... just wondering if I will be able to rely on this soon or if I think of something else to implement. Thank you.
