Scan References and links set for AutoCAD files

Question

I would like to automate the scanning of xrefs so it scans each directory within the same directory. Once one directory is complete,the script moves on to the other directory and so on until all chosen directories have being scanned and re-linked. The cad files with the xrefs are in the same directory as the xrefs. So I want only to scan within the same directory and re-link the xrefs. Once it completes one directory, it moves on to another directory and re-scans those files in the same directory, and so on. At the moment I'm doing this manually and I have a lot of directories to scan.

In the "Scan for Reference Files and Link Sets" one of the first windows in the dialog is "Select Master Files and Folders" where you can specify multiple folders to search and in the next window of the dialog named "Master Folder Settings" you can specify whether to search subfolders as well as what application types you want to scan. 
 I think that this would provide what you are looking for if you added all the folders you are trying to scan in the first window, then in the next window you made sure all the folders were not checked, then at the bottom of that windows you checked on the Application Types (AutoCAD, etc.) that you wanted to search and then used proximity to search for them.

Hi Tony, 
 If I read the question correctly, when you "Scan for Reference Files and Link Sets" you will want to make sure "Enable Priority Search" is not ticked, then in the next window you can tick "Enable Proximity Search" which will allow you to search the "Master File's Folder".
