    bug Get-PWDocumentsBySearch -SearchName extremely slow

when using an older version of pwps_dab (1.5.15.0) and running the Get-PWDocumentsBySearch -SearchName function process, it completes in seconds, however when running the same function using a newer version of pwps_dab (1.16.3.0), its taking minutes. This is reproducible at any time, I can demonstrate if required, can this be looked into?

Functionality was added after 1.5 to report on cmdlet usage.  This has resulted in tremendous slowdown for some cmdlets.

      Hi Dave
The performance is so bad with some of our queries that I have, downgraded the version to the older version, just so that it can complete processing in a reasonable time.

      Install-Module pwps_dab -MaximumVersion 1.5.15.0 -Verbose

This is however not ideal as I am now unable to use some of the newer functions. If the reporting on cmdlet usage is the culprit, then it seriously needs to be looked into by the developers Frowning2

      Kind regards

Hi Gavin, out of interest have you tried the latest module versions as well? There have been improvements made to the performance of a number of cmdlets over the past few months. Latest version is 1.19.1.0

      Hi Robert
Unfortunately yes, I have tried the latest pwps_dab (1.19.1.0), and have the same extremely slow result.
