API Add-in Migrated to Web-Based Tool

I am migrating by rewriting an application that was an add-in to ProjectWise that used the SDK and C++. I am migrating it to be a web based utility for our CAD group. It currently  lets users filter search folder structure and generate a link that gets added to a CAD drawing. I need to provide this  same functionality to end users in the web-based version.

Can this same API functionality be achieved via the web services for ProjectWise?

For these ProjectWise web services is Microsoft IIS the only deployment method possible?

Can they be hosted via AWS or Azure?

The  development direction currently is to Use Node.js and React, are there any issues consuming the PW web services with this architecture?

    Jon

if you can do it in C# this might be better for you . https://github.com/DaveBrumbaugh/MostOfDavesClasses-CSharp-Wrappers-For-ProjectWise

Also what we have done is connect the Web side to powershell via app pools.. Then in the web code they create a run-space and pipe needed values to and from Powershell.
