    Untitled Viewport Created By Interplot

When I create a pdf from Interplot it creates two "Untitled" viewports.  These viewports have nothing to do with the scale of the drawing, and thus should not be there.  Where is the setting in Interplot to disable these unwanted viewports?

      Matthew,

Perform a test with "Disable Saved Views" enabled in the PDF Format Configuration dialog.

      Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried that and still have the same result.
I gleaned a little more information, the scales on the viewports are 1":8.73504" and 1":11.6467".
One other thing... I don't know how other people have setup Interplot, but in our setup Interplot searches for a "border shape" in the dgn to create the plot region. Could this be part of the problem?

A multiple page PDF can be created if the settings file has “Create one plot from each matching shape” enabled, and the file contains multiple shapes that match your plot shape. Is each viewport in the viewer a separate page? How does Adobe Reader display this file? Upload the PDF and \ or design file and settings file if necessary.

      Todd,

Thanks for following up on this.

Using our full scale printer settings file to generate pdfs required us to manually crop a 48x36 pdf to create a correctly sized 22x34 pdf... ( See BorderShape files in the attachment) The two Untitled viewports in that pdf are scaled at 1:12.  Viewports are supposed to only be used to display special scales.  So, this is incorrect.

Because manually cropping these files was wasting a lot of our group and section's time, I went ahead and made a modified settings file that generates a 22x34 pdf, and that's where I'm getting the differently scaled Untitled viewports. (See the 22x34 files in the attachment)Interplot Problems.zip.

Regardless of scale, we shouldn't be including any viewports in any of our pdfs, we do not use that type of functionality in our drawings.  And even if we wanted to, our configuration with Interplot isn't set up to support it.

When I open the files in Adobe I don't know where to find viewport information...   Though, the scaling is correct in both Revu and Acrobat.

Please help us find where these Untitled viewports are coming from.

      Thank you Todd!
      He has solved the problem!

The short term solution is to add:

      IPLOTSRV_NO_PDF_MEASURE = true

      to the iplotsrv.cfg file.

The long term solution may be up for debate... We don't use the Model space/Sheet space in Microstation. So, I really don't have a handle on where Microstation is in regard to Model/Sheet space and whether they want to utilize multiple correctly scaled viewports in the produced pdfs.

Can you please clarify where do you add the following statement "IPLOTSRV_NO_PDF_MEASURE = true" ?
My .cfg file that I use for printing, the statements start and ends with "< >"
