Problem installing the CONNECT Edition of ICS for PDF

I'm am in the process of upgrading our demo/development server to the CONNECT Edition of ProjectWise.

When installing ICS for PDF I get the following error when the installer has finished and it is trying to launch the configuration wizard.

    Field not found: 'Bentley.Rendsvc.RendsvcConstants.BeginProcessorTypeID'.

Found the problem based on the information provided I was able to determine that the previous 08.11.11.590 version was registered in the global assembly cache (C:\Windows\assembly\) had to uninstall the Orchestration Framework to remove it and then reinstall everything again.

The version listed in the GAC is now the correct one (10.0.0.15)

      Thanks

Do you have the DEVPATH environment variable defined on this development server? That may have come about while troubleshooting a problem with Bentley Support or deploying a prototype DLL.

Also, I assume you successfully removed the existing iCS for PDF product first, correct?

If you do have a DEVPATH environment variable, and the directory it points to contains a prototype Bentley.Rendsvc.dll, you would need to delete that old DLL after removing the existing product but before installing iCS for PDF CONNECT Edition.  In your case, since the old product presumably uninstalled correctly, you would just need to delete the DLL and install CONNECT Edition again.

If that's not it, search the file system for any other Bentley.Rendsvc.dll files that may present.  There should only be two: one in the product directory, and another under C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_32.
