How to force images to plot behind graphics rather than on top?

    Hi,

Is there a setting or option available in InterPlot (ICS) to force images to be plotted behind the graphical elements rather than on top of them?

A configuration variable? A toggle within InterPlot? A design script command? Anything...?

I'd spent the entire day figuring out a bunch of InterPlot plotting issues (we are plotting DWG drawings that include an aerial image as part of the drawing composition) and, just as I was about to updated the server settings, the designer re-engineered the drawing and the aerial image decided to plot on top of all the graphics.

Some method to force the image to be at the back no matter what the designer does... Anything?

    Thanks,

    Michael

You can try using priority in a design script but this can get tricky as once you assign one element a priority, you have to assign all elements a priority. You could also try pushing the raster to the back in graphics. Typically InterPlot relies on MicroStation to control the priority of the raster. Some versions will allow priority on raster, some do not. I don't recall which ones. If the design script does not work, PM me and we can take a look at your data.

      Hi Dawn,

I did attempt that yesterday but couldnt get it to make any difference. I did read that I needed to assign priority to everything, but wasn't sure how to do that so probably didnt get it right.

I'll touch base with you on PM.
      Thanks,
      Michael
