    ProjectWise Renditions not reading .pen/.tbl files

    I'm having trouble getting PW renditions to work correctly. PW will create the rendition, but doesn't pull any information from the .pen or the .tbl files that are in the settings file.So all my colors, line styles, and line weights are incorrectly plotted.

    Currently, the only way I can get renditions to even run is by placing the .pen and .tbl files on a local shared drive and the .set file in PW. If I try to map the .set file to .pen/.tbl on PW itself, it won't run a rendition at all.

    The rendition profile is pulling the .set from PW in PW administrator. I've also added

    IPLOTSRV_USE_POST_STROKE_LINE_STYLES = true

    to the iplotsrv.cfg file in an attempt to get the lines styles to plot correctly.

      The correct method is to create an IPLOT .set file in PW, edit this .set to point to the design script and .pen that is also stored in PW. Make sure you browse from the .set file to the PW document. Then create a Source File Presentation Settings rendition component in PW admin to point to the .set file. Make sure the rendition profile uses this source file presentation settings rendition component. When create the adhoc - on demand job, use this profile. If a stored job, make sure you select the source file presentation settings rendition component on the job setup. If all of this is in order, make sure the iCS user can access the design script/pen table. Another helpful tip is to get an email notification, does it give you any errors?
