AutoCAD Civil 2016 & ProjectWise Integration:

    Sarah Daley
Offline Sarah Daley over 6 years ago

Our ProjectWise and AutoCAD Civil 2016 will not properly integrate with one another. We are using the standard ProjectWise v8i (select series 4) and AutoCAD Civil 2016 integration module which is partially working. The two programs are integrated on a surface level, however, we cannot open any DWG's without our AutoCAD freezing upon trying to open the files from ProjectWise. We can logon to ProjectWise while in CAD and see our ProjectWise tool pallets but anything beyond that makes Civil freeze up.

    We have:

    ProjectWise version: 08.11.11590

Integration Module version for AutoCAD 2016: 8.11.11590

    AutoCAD Civil 2016

Thank you for you help and please point me in the right forum direction if this is not the place for a question like this!

      Hi Sarah,

We have PW and C3D 2016 integrated and it appears to be functioning in the same manner as the C3D 2014 integration. That suggests that whatever issue there is at your site can be solved.

As far as versions, we have:
      PW Explorer - 08.11.11.590
      PW/C3D 2016 Integration Module - 08.11.11.776
      C3D 2016 SP3 - 10.5.604.0

There is far more involved than just the versions of course.
What is the Program Association configuration that you have?
Potentially, it could be due to a conflict with another piece of software installed on the system.

I'd suggest you log a support call and have one of the Bentley folks contact you directly so the configuiration can be examined.

      Good luck,
      Michael
