Getting Started with ProjectWise Web View

ProjectWise Web View provides internal and external users read-only datasource-level access to an organization's content in ProjectWise Explorer. Users can view content through a web browser to extend engineering information and accelerate communication.

A Connect Administrator chooses what datasources to expose to authorized users by creating a connection to a server URL
and datasource.

Once a datasource connection is made, users with access rights set by the Administrator in ProjectWise Explorer will see the connections when they log in to ProjectWise Web View. Users must first have a Bentley IMS Account.  Authorized users will have read-only rights to view information within the datasource.

Learn more about ProjectWise Web View

ProjectWise Web View is accessed through the CONNECT Center on the Enterprise or Home pages. In order to connect to ProjectWise datasources, Bentley Web Services Gateway (WSG) and the ProjectWise Plug-in for WSG must be set up and configured with CORS configuration. Administrators can learn how to properly configure CORS and set up datasources here.

NOTE: ProjectWise Web View reduces usage fees by giving users complimentary datasource level access to ProjectWise information.

If you need more detailed instructions on setting up ProjectWise Web View, see the ProjectWise Web View Help or ProjectWise Administrator Help.
