The Design Review app runs in your web browser and does not require any client software or plug-in to be installed on your computer. Below you will find information about supported browsers and hardware recommendations to provide you the best visualization experience.
We use WebGL to display 2d and 3d geometry in views. You can check if your browser is compatible on https://connect-imodeljscompatibility.bentley.com/.
The Design Review app is supported on the latest versions of these browsers.
Note: Internet Explorer and Edge "old version" are not supported.
Note: Other Chromium-based browsers will likely work fine, but are untested.
In order to run Design Review you will need this minimum hardware specification.
Intel® or AMD® 64 bit processor 1.0 GHz or greater.
Intel HD Graphics 520
Direct 3D version 11 or later

While the minimum requirements will allow you to use the app, these recommendations will provide better performance with a higher frame rate and allow you to view larger models.
Intel® or AMD® 64 bit processor 2.8 GHz or greater.
8 GB or more. More memory almost always improves performance, particularly when working with larger models.
Dedicated graphics card with minimum of 2 GB VRAM or more.
