Problem Description

Is it possible to update an existing ProjectWise InterPlot Driver Pack with a newer version without removing the older version, because all InterPlot print queues must be re-created if a driver pack is removed from the Server?

Steps to Accomplish

If it is not a Major Release upgrade (example: ProjectWise XM to  ProjectWise V8i ) than you can  install the newer ProjectWise InterPlot Driver Pack versions on top of the existing older ProjectWise InterPlot Driver Pack.

Example

ProjectWise InterPlot Driver Pack Version 03.04.03.11

Update to

ProjectWise InterPlot Driver Pack Version 03.04.04.62

Example 2

ProjectWise InterPlot Mid-Volume Driver Pack Version 01.04.01.29

Update to

ProjectWise InterPlot Mid-Volume Driver Pack Version 01.04.04.60.

If it is a Major Release upgrade, then you have to remove the ProjectWise  Driver Packs, Reboot and install it from scratch. Make sure that you have all printer queue settings documented.
