    Problem

IP "This is not a kernal mode driver."--Trying to load InterPlot Driver Pack on Window 2003, have set policies according to readme file and technote, still get error when creating printer "This is not a kernal mode driver."

    Solution

The server was overriding its own group policies with those from the domain. In the city-wide network environment, it was not
an option to set this particular policy domain-wide.

Take the server out of the AD domain so it only looks at its group policies. You will be able to successfully create the printers with the drivers. Then add the server back into the AD domain.

When adding more printers, this routine will have to be done again.
