Environment Variables for iCS for PDF
The following are recommended variables to be set on the iCS for PDF server.
Set these variables for on all iCS servers regardless of the PowerPlatform products installed:
MS_NO_EXCEPTION_ALERTS=1
Ensures dialogs will be suppressed, which would hang iCS for PDF jobs
MS_MINIDUMPTYPE = none
Improved performance and reduced virtual memory usage by eliminating PowerPlatform crash dump creation
Set these variables if running Open Roads Designer:
CIVIL_ENABLE_QUICK_PRINTSERVER = 1
CIVIL_UPDATE_PROMPT_OFF = 1
CIVIL_OPEN_OLD_READONLY = 1
Improved performance for ORD, prevention of unwanted DGN updates and dialogs as well as prevents an unwanted upgrade of DGN files to a newer version of ORD
Set these variables if running OpenBuilding Designer CE (versions 10.04.00.69 or greater):
BB_NOSURVEYUNITWARNING=1
MS_NO_EXCEPTION_ALERTS=1 (should already be set with MicroStation env variables)
TF_BYPASS_VALIDATION=1
Ensures OBD dialogs will be suppressed, which would hang iCS for PDF jobs
Set these variables if running AECOSim Building Designer or OpenBuilding Designer (any versions):
TF_NOCOMPATIBILITYWARNING=1
Ensures OBD dialogs will be suppressed, which would hang iCS for PDF jobs.
