Unable to attach referece file in MicroStation

Problem Description

I am unable to attach a reference file to a folder in MicroStation. When the dialog box pulls up it comes up blank rather than displaying a folder tree.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Uninstalled and re- installed MicroStation
  2. Re-integrated MS with PW
  3. Turned up ODMA and PWC logging
  4. Found the following message in the PWC log
  5. 804 INFO  [0x00001120] pwise.netapi.discovery - UDP discovery for DsListing is enabled
  6. UDP was enabled on the system. Turned UDP off and that solved the issue
