Turning off single sign on on the client machine

      Product(s): ProjectWise Explorer Client
      Version(s): 08.11.09.122
      Area:  Security and Permissions
Original Author: Dana Guthrie, Bentley Technical Support Group

    Problem

    Turning off single sign on.
A user accidentally clicked the option for single sign on in the login box and now it single signs him on through all his programs. How can he turn that off?

    Solution

The setting to fix this issue is located in the ProjectWise Network control

If you have ProjectWise Explorer open, go to Tools \ Network Configuration Settings

If ProjectWise Explorer is not open, then in windows go to Start \ Control panel \ ProjectWise Network control

Click on the Idesktop auto-login tab, then click the Global settings button and uncheck the allow Automatic login and allow Saving passwords.  Click Okay to close out of all dialogs.

If you are unable to change items in your control panel due to security, you will need to log into the computer as a system administrator, or have your IT department help you with this process.
