How do I see what files a user has checked out, copied out, or exported without being on the users computer.

    Background

I need to find out what files some of my users have checked out, copied out, or exported and on which computer the files are located.

    Steps to Accomplish

Option 1: Use the search form to search.

    1. In ProjectWise Explore, Create a view that includes the basic columns of  "Out to" and "Node"
    2. Click the Binoculars to launch the search wizard and choose search form.
    3. On the General page find the "Out to" pull down and choose the users login name.

    4. Make sure you are searching the entire datasource.

    5. Click apply and okay.  Make sure you are using the view you created to see the results

Option 2: Use the Local Document Organizer

    1. Log in to ProjectWise Explorer as Admin, or a user who is part of the Administrator Group on any computer.
    2. Go to Tools, Local Document Organizer.

    3. There should be three pull down menu options; Datasource, Node, and User

    4. Choose the Node (computer name) the user uses, and the users login name.  The list of files the user has out on the machine you choose will appear in the results pain.
