Prerequisites of ProjectWise Web Connections Service:

• ProjectWise Project*¹
• Bentley Web Services Gateway*²
• Bentley WSG ProjectWise Plugin*³
• ProjectWise IMS Authentication*⁴
• Work Area Connection*⁵
• ProjectWise User + Bentley IMS Account *⁶

*Note2. For users whose ProjectWise environment is hosted by Bentley, contact Bentley to obtain the URL of Bentley Web Services Gateway; for users with on-prem ProjectWise environment, refer to Bentley WSG Configurations to deploy Bentley WSG

*Note3. For users whose ProjectWise environment is hosted by Bentley, Bentley Cloud Operations Team will take care of this; for users with on-prem ProjectWise environment, you need to install the latest Bentley WSG ProjectWise Plugin, since ProjectWise v10.00.03.262, Bentley WSG ProjectWise Plugin is part of server installer

*Note4. ProjectWise IMS Authentication is required for the following. Refer to Enabling Bentley IMS Authentication

• Access Work Area in web browser without signing in ProjectWise
• Edit Office Documents in Browser
• Review & Markup PDFs without signing in ProjectWise again

*Note6. Users need Bentley IMS Account to consume ProjectWise Web Connections Service, and ProjectWise User to access Work Area. Since ProjectWise v10.00.02.96, Bentley IMS Authentication is supported, refer to Adding Users with Bentley IMS Accounts to the Datasource
