    Problem Description

    USS  - ERROR [1948] pwise.usersync - Failed to create group Lost SID entries. The customer has a group that exists, and can be seen in Active Directory. The group is also in PW, USS is just not pulling the names

    Solution

     The problem was that the group was not "Windows - synchronized . The following steps resolved the problem:
    1. Select a group that was failing
    2. Open that group properties in PW Admin.
    3.  If it is "Windows –synchronized” change it to "Windows", Hit apply.
    4. Then change it to "Windows - synchronized" and hit apply.
    5. That should fix the group's SID.

    Other errors in the logs were:
    “ failed to create group, lost SID 2208 -11037 failed to create user group
