    Error 58040 (access denied) upgrading a folder to a project

    Problem Description

    Getting error 58040 (access denied) when trying to upgrade a folder to a project

    Solution

    User requirements to upgrade folder to a project:

    1. Enable the "allow user to create projects and to upgrade folders to projects" user setting 

    2. Be in the administrator group

    OR

    Own the folder and have the datasource setting "Grant implicit 'change permission' rights to owners of projects, folders and documents" turned on
