Could not load mcm mcmtb Bad version number for MDL application MCMTBLDR

      Product(s): ProjectWise V8 XM Edition
      Version(s): 08.09.04.89
      Area:  Title Block
Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

    Problem

"Could not load mcm , mcmtb" "Bad version number for MDL application MCMTBLDR"
I am getting this window message when I try to launch Microstation V8 v. 08.05.02.35 in projectwise XM.

    Solution

The mcmtbldr.ma is the file that loads title block integration.
From the message it sounds like the version on your system does not match the version of ProjectWise or is missing.
The mcmtbldr.ma can be found in C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation\mdlsys\required
Try uninstalling the integration for Microstation, then check to see that this file has been removed.
Then reinstall the integration and make sure a new mcmtbldr.ma is replaced.
The mcmtbldr.ma can also be found at C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProjectWise\bin\v89  (for XM Microstation version) and can be copied to the appropriate directory.  If you have more than one version of Microstation, the integration may not have installed the file in all needed locations.

Our Projectwise install package created by our IT group is the one causing problems.
When I did the install manually, it worked just fine and placed the mcmtbldr.ma in the ....\as required folder in Microstation.
