I deleted a folder or file from projectwise and I need to recover it.
Depending on what version you are running there was a setting in the audit trail that logs when a folder is deletedIf you had this setting on you could go to the parent folder and see what folder was deleted. There is also a setting in for using the windows recycle bin. If you had this configured then the folder would be on the server in the recycle bin.If the user recently had files from that folder checked out or maybe someone else did, you could check the working directories for a dms folder number.
Enumfolders.exe an application to enumerate objects in a ProjectWise folder hierarchy.Enumfolders.exe is included with the V8i release of ProjectWise, and is a part of the ProjectWise Client install. The application is used to provide a way to report on ProjectWise folders/files. The program is also able to re-curse through the folder structure which allows a complete report of the hierarchal folder structure. This can be very useful for users who want to export the folder/file information from ProjectWise, to a text file for review. Enumfolders.exe is a command line utility. To run the utility, open a command window and navigate to the ProjectWise/bin folder, which is typically"C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProjectWise\bin\enumfolders.exe"the audit trail on must have been turned on for this tool to work
