Hi all,
I got a question concerning extraction for base plate location (anchor plan). Due to the actual position of the plant the models are rotated some degrees from the X-Axis.
Extraction of plan views at different elevation they come out perpendicular to X-Axis but when it come to Anchor Plan (only), the result is the following (see image below).
Please advise.
Enzo
Hell oEnzo,
in that case maybe create an additional View which has the frame aligned with the columns grid by placing the UCS aligned to the column direction before creating the view.
and use that new view for the anchor plan.
The view direction is always dependent on the UCS which is rotated in your case

Hello Johannsen,
I adjusted the UCS to the frame and result is as shown below (see image). Gives me a different result but with the same issue.
one has to create a complete new view and has to apply that one to the detail style anchor plan
Johannes that does not let me use the option anchor plan (in RED), I still did what you told me (new view in BLUE) just to show you the difference (see image below). Is there other way than that?
Roger,
This model has only the column and base plates, if you know the description txt and the detail style let me know.
Regards.

Hi Enzo,
Is the 2D drawing you would want to get is like what I have on the Screenshot?
What I used is the SX_002_BOTTOM view and then just added some additional lines to connect the grids.
