What is the best method to calculate the area of plate?

I am not interested in the total surface area of a plate, rather the area of the polyline used to create the shape. The area of coverage.

It appears the SECTAREA field in the drawing

RE: Calculating Area (square meters) of Plate...

My error, in Series6 there is only the Standard form and output, in the Powerproduct there are some limited field formulas.

RE: Calculating Area (square meters) of Plate...

Thanks Johannes.

How do I enable the formula field in the drawing partlist editor?

For Drawingpartlist is a little different, the variables are different a little and the formulas.

the example was for another case, you would have to multiply *100
