    Thanks

  • Hi Hoa,

You can make it by using Solids Modeling. In there is a tool at R3 ( Solid by Extrusion along).

We hope this will help you to make this kind of shape. But please note that it will not work if along the line the shape intersects with the shape itself.

We have attached here a short video which will give you clear idea on this.

  • Thank Sandip,

I will try it and comment on forum. I have one more question, how I can place one block 2d perpendicular with my curves as below

    Thanks

  • Hi Hoa,

We just want to inform you that Template Driven Solid is removed from the Connect Edition. However we have the better tool than that.

In Connect edition there will be self definable parametric elements you can reuse and build up for your needs. Also there is the Component Center Catalog which is already available for Connect Edition products. All of those you can get in the Modeling Workflow Ribbon. See the below image for more clarity. you can go through all these tools.

How this functions in detail will be provided in the future in ProStructure is to be seen. We recommend you to have a regular look on Communities. You can also go through the What's New page for CONNECT Edition.

    https://communities.bentley.com/products/prostructures/w/structural_drafting_and_detailing__wiki/37968/what-s-new

You can get better clarification and hope this will help you more to know in detail about this new release.
