I am new to prostructures and trying to add rebar to a 3D element but having a lot of difficulty. In the screen shown, how can I get a group of rebar to end at the sloped surface? Actually, I need the bars to end 2" in from this surface, perpendicular to the surface, due to 2" bar cover.
Thanks,

Sandip,
Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I am still having difficulty with this. Going to the wall/panel rebar set, I've enabled Polycut in the options per screen below. I then click on "Select Concrete/Define Poly" at bottom of window. The command prompts me to select active concrete, then to select outline. Following both command prompts results in selecting the entire 3D element. The wall/panel rebar set then comes back, at that point I don't know what to do. Is there some other option or selection needed at this point to make this work?
Sorry - Here is my options screen:
Hi Thomas,
Please follow the steps as mentioned below
1. Place the Rectangular panel
2. Using modify tool, cut the panel as you need by using line method.
3. Then using Wall/Panel Rebarset, place the reinforcement.
4. For placement, you have 3 options
--> Via selecting concrete
--> Via selecting Polygon and concrete
--> Via selecting Polygon points and concrete.
5. Here we need to select first option, Select Concrete.
6. You can see the Rebars are placed.
For your easy reference I am sharing here one short video to explain this. This is uploaded in the link provided below. Download the video from the link.

I hope this will resolve your issue.
This did resolve my issue. Can the same rebar results be achieved via the modeling workflow (extruding and modifying a shape)? This is what I had tried doing originally, however, the rebar would extend past the sloped face. Thank for your help and hope you have a great day.
