Search tool for Bar Properties

Hello Nicole, 

Thanks for posting your query over the Bentley Communities Forum. 

In response to your query of locating the rebars in your 3D model with respect to the Bar Marks, we suggest to use the Bar Analytics tool. 



You can go to the Bar Factory tab and select the particular Bar Mark, you will see the sketch in the section below and the same will get highlighted in the 3D model also.

Thanks Alistair. This helps. However still having a hard time seeing certain highlighted bars in my file.

Is there a way to inhance or change highlight color?

You can try setting / changing the Selection and Highlight colors in the View Options of the Preferences.

Yes, thanks, i even tried that and i still can't find the barmark in question.The length of this bar is 25 mm, obviously should be deleted, but can't see it even with changing the highlight color.2868 culvert.mdb2868_ProConcrete Rebar.dgn

We recommend you to search for the rebar through the Explorer > Advanced Search

Oh this works very well, thanks Alistair.

The search for that 25 mm bar showed zero results, so not sure why it shows up my partlist bill and has assigned barmak to.

I"ll delete barmarks and start again,
